Recommend Packing Everything In 2 Gallon Resealable Plastic Bags

DAYPACK (Travels with Scout to camp and is handy upon check-in)
____    Money for lunch on way to camp 
____    Rain suit or poncho (sturdy)
____    Water Bottle (1 qt.)
____    Sunscreen (SPF 30+)

____    Personal First Aid kit
____    Hat (only Troop, patrol or other BSA)
____    Swimsuit & towel for check-in swim-check
____    INHALER/EPI-PEN* if needed

____    Tripod camp chair for MB classes

____    Facemasks (at least double layered and recommended one for each day)

CLOTHES
____    Complete BSA Class A Uniform** and Order of the Arrow sash (if earned)
____    Clothes hangers (for uniform)
____    Jacket 
____    Shorts (3 pair)           

____    Class B t-shirts (5-6)
____    Undershorts 
____    Socks 
____    Hiking boots (required for COPE) or heavy tennis shoes (2 pair) NO OPEN TOED SHOES!!!!
____    Water or camp shoes (1 pair) NO flip flops
____    Swimsuits (2) advised
____    Garbage bags for dirty or wet clothes/shoes
 

    GROOMING KIT WITH:
   ____    Soap 
   ____    Shampoo
   ____    Deodorant (no aerosol cans!!!!!)
   ____    Toothbrush/Toothpaste
   ____    Towels, washcloths (2-3 each)
   ____    Comb or Brush
   ____    Lipbalm (with sunscreen)
   ____    Insect repellant (no aerosol cans!!!!!)

MISCELAINEOUS ITEMS
____    Foot locker to store everything (fits under cot: 32” long x 14” high) Labeled—NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!
____    MUST have either combination or key lock (combination type preferred) for locker
____    Additional Money - for merit badge kits, snacks and souvenirs.  Average scout spends $70 
____    Sleeping bag (in waterproof, durable stuff bag OR heavy duty garbage bag—label with name)
____    Pillow
____    Boy Scout Handbook
____    Materials for merit badge sessions
____    Spiral-bound notebook (pack in zip-lock)
____    Ball point pens (2)  or pencils (2)
____    Pocket Knife with Totin’ Chip
____    Watch (waterproof)
____    Whistle 
____    Compass (orienteering style with rectangular base plate and liquid filled housing)
____    Flashlight, small (with 2 sets fresh batteries and extra bulb)
____    Rope for clothes line
____    Polyethylene tarp with grommets (8’ x 14’ min.)
____    Nutritional SNACKS (not just candy) as the boys are always hungry.

____    Camp chair (especially needed for Friday night)

OPTIONAL
Camera, film, magazines, book, board games, wallet for $ & ID, needle & thread, foam sleeping pad (will be sleeping on cot), safety pins, sunglasses, clothes pins for drying wet clothes
 

Bring as few valuables as possible. Unfortunately, items are not always as safe as we would like.
